RC–X puts your aircraft design, building and piloting skills to the test. Form a team of 3–4, build your aircraft, take to the skies and prove that you can stay in control when precision matters most. Before the challenge begins, every aircraft must clear a mandatory technical inspection to ensure it meets the event’s technical and safety requirements. Teams that pass move on to the qualification round where they must demonstrate stable flight, maneuverability and control over their plane by demonstrating a safe landing. The real challenge begins in the final round. Teams must complete two full loops around the designated field, navigate two obstacles, and accurately drop a 20 g payload into the target zone.
